Hill Climb Event

Long Beach Model T Club

Club member Lana Stephens and her dog Brownie in a 1916 Ford Model T Touring car participating at the Hill Climb event in the City of Signal Hill. She completed the 1/10 mile 22% grade in 18.06 seconds. The original Model T Hill Climb event ran from 1956 to 1979.  To celebrate Americas 250th anniversary, a Hill Climb reenactment was held with 20 motorcars climbing the hill.
